The next chapter in the "More Than A Game" story is really taking shape in the small community of El Mamon. Our first day consisted of pulling weeds, picking up trash, edging and topped off with a four station baseball clinic. Rain is usually a factor as we travel the globe and the Dominican Republic has been no different. No worries, rain delays become a time for fellowship and sharing with local kids as well as community leaders. The next day brings renewed energy and several dump trucks of infield dirt. We finished our day with another round of clinics and a freshly painted backstop. We would also be remised if we didn't mentioned that the Pittsburgh Pirates Academy have been extremely gracious hosts.
